Please Please Please can we NOT get caught up on the OLD arguement about Metric and Imperial?
I know that most of the world use Metric and the USA is in the minority however I would speculate that most of the forum members are in the USA and therefore most of the mesurements are going to be quoted in USA Imperial.
I grew up in Canada under the Imperial system but when I moved to Germany I started to use Metric. Then I moved to the UK and went back to Imperial until the UK went Metric. Now I use Metric all the time but still do a quick mental conversion back and forth between Imperial and Metric just to get a better "feel" for the measurement!
However this is not really a problem and anyone who wants to can easily convert from Imperial to Metric and back again!
The reality is that working in either and converting from either one to the other is not that big a deal.
Please lets not let that be a problem on our project!
My 2 cents worth!
The design of other, logistical features, such as documentation, parts lists, supply sources, and instructions.
